Food Lifeline's Volunteer Production Team leads community volunteers through food sorting and repacking sessions. Volunteers help assess inventory quality and quantity, set up sorting areas for various food products, and participate in organizing donations. The work combines physical activity with community engagement, featuring a fun, inclusive atmosphere with music and volunteer appreciation. Volunteers gain hands-on experience in food safety and logistics while directly supporting the organization's mission to combat food insecurity in Western Washington.

What you'll do

• Sort and repack food donations of varying types (potatoes, pasta, etc.)
• Work as part of a team to organize and categorize food products
• Learn about food safety and inventory management
• Interact with community members and Food Lifeline staff
• Participate in a supportive, music-filled volunteer environment

Requirements

Minimum age to volunteer is 10 years old. Must be physically able to move food and work in a warehouse environment.
