About this opportunity

Students learn to build and troubleshoot electronics using circuit drawings, prototyping boards, and test equipment in an industrial lab setting. The program includes hands-on projects such as programming and building movable robots, soldering and building telephones or binary clocks, and working with specialized test equipment and tools. Field trips are offered each quarter to explore career opportunities in electronics engineering. Students can earn high school credit, dual college credit (up to 28 free credits through Tech Prep), high school equivalency credit, and industry-recognized credentials. Cross-crediting in Math for Algebra 2 or Third year Math may be available.

Requirements

Pre-requisite: Successful completion of Algebra 1. Open to high school students from multiple districts in the Sno-Isle area.
