About this opportunity

Habitat Young Professionals (HYP) empowers young professionals as catalysts for change, driving sustainable support and community impact for Habitat SKKC. Members gain access to volunteer opportunities at Habitat Stores, construction sites, and home repair sites, while building a strong network of future leaders. The program offers membership dues of $15 monthly or $150 annually, with 100% of dues and fundraising going toward member activities including socials, events, volunteer days, and the organization's mission of creating affordable housing for families and individuals in the Puget Sound region. Members receive benefits including a free t-shirt, HYP Hardhat Sticker, opportunity to serve on committees, access to all member events (networking, social, learning/development, book club, volunteering/advocacy), invitations to Habitat SKKC affiliate events, and a 5% discount on annual Build the HYP Fundraiser tickets.

What you'll do

• Volunteer at Habitat Stores, construction sites, and home repair sites
• Participate in networking and social events
• Join committees to help with events, volunteering, or development
• Attend fundraising activities including Build the HYP Fundraiser and Giving Tuesday campaigns
• Advocate for affordable housing in the Puget Sound region
