About this opportunity

The Sophia Way has launched a Youth Engagement Committee designed to empower young leaders in the Bellevue/Kirkland area who want to support women experiencing homelessness. The committee offers three dynamic subcommittees to choose from: 1. Community Nourishment: Focus on meal donations, volunteer recruitment, and supporting meal programs for those passionate about cooking and community outreach. 2. Events: Organize events and ensure smooth execution for students who enjoy planning. 3. Resource Champions: Lead donation drives and strengthen resource development efforts for students interested in fundraising and relationship-building. The first meeting will be held via Zoom on Tuesday, October 29th from 5:30-6:30pm. Monthly meetings remain on Zoom to incorporate students from a wide geographic area, though in-person volunteering is available in the Bellevue/Kirkland area.
