About this opportunity

Food Lifeline welcomes students who need to satisfy their school's community service requirements. All volunteers must be at least 10 years of age. Volunteers ages 10-15 must be accompanied by a chaperone at a minimum ratio of 1 chaperone to 5 youths. Volunteers 16 and older may come without a chaperone. All volunteers under the age of 18 are required to bring a signed parent consent form, which is good for the entire calendar year.\n\nVolunteers can register for sessions through the online calendar. Food Lifeline can provide verification of hours via website, formal letters with verified hours and letterhead, or signed hours of completion depending on your school's requirements. Volunteers who complete 24 service hours within the last 12 months can request a signed letter of recommendation on Food Lifeline letterhead.

Requirements

Volunteers ages 10-15 must be accompanied by a chaperone (1:5 minimum ratio). All volunteers under 18 must bring a signed parent consent form. Available for letters of recommendation after 24 hours of service within 12 months.
