About this opportunity

With an emphasis on hands-on, patient-oriented skills training, learn about the healthcare industry and careers for nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers or therapists. Working in a state-of-the-art facility, learn vital signs, infection control, legal and ethical issues, and bedside patient care, and earn certification in CPR/First Aid. Program includes field trips, guest speakers, team building, and leadership activities. Complete clinical experience hours in healthcare facilities to meet Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC) certification requirements. Students are prepared to immediately enter employment in the healthcare industry and/or continue with post secondary education.
