About this opportunity

Help make a difference in Federal Way as a Meals on Wheels Volunteer! You'll be part of a compassionate team dedicated to helping seniors who are homebound maintain their health and independence while combating social isolation. As a Site Co-Coordinator/Office Support volunteer, your main responsibility is to coordinate volunteer teams for meal delivery and complete office tasks that keep the program running smoothly. In a pinch, you can fill in for any team member, including calling clients for orders and delivering meals. Training is provided.

What you'll do

• Coordinate volunteer teams for meal delivery
• Complete office tasks and administrative support
• Call clients to take meal orders
• Deliver meals to homebound seniors
• Provide personal contact and caring service to seniors

Requirements

Must complete a Volunteer Application, pass a background check, have a valid driver's license, vehicle, and vehicle insurance. Looking for volunteers committed to ongoing service.
