About this opportunity

The Seattle Aquarium's Youth Ocean Advocate program offers volunteer positions for high school students interested in marine science and ocean conservation. Potential Youth Ocean Advocates must attend an online orientation session via Zoom, after which they receive an application to complete and submit to the Aquarium. From the applicant pool, the Aquarium selects individuals for interviews, and positions are filled based on interview performance and the application. A limited number of positions are available each school year and summer.

Requirements

Must be enrolled in grades 9-12 in a high school, Running Start, or homeschool program at time of application. Potential volunteers must attend an online orientation session to receive an application.
