Museum of Pop Culture Volunteer

About this opportunity

Our volunteers spread the good word of pop culture through exhibition interpretation, information desk attendance, interactive support, event assistance, and much more. If you believe in the power of pop culture — or you simply want to get involved in the community — we'd love to see you at the Museum of Pop Culture as a volunteer!\n\nVolunteers are positioned in public-facing spaces focused on the guest experience, including answering guest questions, helping support interactive exhibitions, and leading hands-on activities. There are plans to expand volunteer opportunities to other facets of the museum in the future.

What you'll do

• Answer guest questions and provide exhibition interpretation
• Support interactive exhibitions
• Lead hands-on activities
• Provide information desk assistance
• Assist with events

Requirements

Minimum 6-month commitment required. Must be at least 16 years old. Background and reference check required. Special summer program available for high schoolers looking to gain service-learning hours and learn about museum and non-profit careers.
